Day two of the 30 days wild challenge was very rainy and windy for most of the day here, so we have decided to do an 'after the rains' photo shoot to show our participation. We noticed that the insects came back out with the sun so we headed off to the wild flower patch to take these.

The rest of the photographs are some of the various different kinds of hoverfly spotted on the flowers.
This gave me a chance to try and practice with our macro lens as I haven't had the time to try it out very much yet.
