We think they are tree bumblebees ( Bombus hypnorum) a newcomer to this country arriving in 2001. This one was just relaxing in the late sunshine, the other was investigating a piece of old trellis.

30 Days Wild - day 8
Today we went for another nature walk but it wasn't until I sat down near the wild flower garden in the late afternoon that I spotted these little bees.
We think they are tree bumblebees ( Bombus hypnorum) a newcomer to this country arriving in 2001. This one was just relaxing in the late sunshine, the other was investigating a piece of old trellis.
